Dr Joseph Obi | "The UK General Medical Council (GMC) Does Not Have Any Statutory Powers (Whatsoever) Over The Medical Licensing Commision (MLC)."
This is to categorically reiterate that the recent Medical School (Recognition Withdrawal) Changes at the General Medical Council (GMC) have absolutely nothing (whatsoever) to do with the Medical Licensing Commission (MLC).
Even if your Primary Medical Qualification is not recognized by the GMC , the Medical Licensing Commission (MLC) will still allow you to sit for the MLCEE ; pending all other Formalities.
All that the MLC needs to see is an Official Letter from your National Government , clearly confirming that your Medical School is Duly Accredited by the Appropriate Medical Accreditation Body.
Please kindly visit www.MedLC.org for further information.
